We are so excited that you’re here. After Fred proposed on the 17th September 2023 we have been busy planning our big day and have found the most incredible venue to host our wedding weekend from Thursday 24th to Sunday 26th July.
All of the important information can be found on your wedding invitation. But we have created this website to pop some photos of the venue, some things to do in the Chianti area and any extra information that may be useful nearer the time.

the accommodation
You can find an overview of the types of rooms and amenities in the rooms below. We will be allocating rooms to all our guests.
The majority of guests will be staying in one of the Castelvecchi rooms. Originally accommodation for the farmers of the farm, the typical nature of these stunning rooms has been maintained. Each room comes with a private bathroom with shower, hair dryer and fridge. The rooms are a mix of double, triple and family rooms.

WELCOME Dinner & DRINKS
Thursday 24th July
7pm til late
With all of our guests staying at the venue for a few nights, we wanted to kick things off with some welcome drinks and dinner on the first evening.

Friday July 25th
Wedding ceremony at 5pm
Breakfast will be served 8-10am, followed by a light lunch at noon before the wedding celebrations commense in the late afternoon.
pool & prosecco party
Saturday 26th July
Party starts at 1pm
Hair of the dog… we can’t wait to spend another day with you all enjoying some pizza and drinks by the pool! Breakfast will be served 9-11am, pool party will start at 1pm and pizza will be served at 6pm.
Things to do in the chianti area
There is so much you can do and see in the Chianti area so if you are considering turning the long weekend into a holiday we would highly recommend. Ideally you will need to rent a car to explore the area – there are lots of rental options from Pisa and Florence airport.
1. Wine tasting at Borgo Castelvecchi
Our wedding venue offers wine tasting which we would highly recommend. Borgo Castelvecchi’s vineyard is the oldest in all of Tuscany and is a great way to see the venue in a different light!
2. Visit Chianti Vineyards
There are many vineyards in the area, with our wedding venue being one of them, so you can visit them by car – it’s always best to enquire ahead to ensure they’re available to the public on your chosen day. Alternatively, you can book a guided tour where you can visit many cellars in the area.
3. Explore the Tuscan landscape
It really is breathtaking! Our wedding venue is based in the Chianti Classic DOCG region, so we are well located and no more than an 1.5 hour drive from any of the other wine regions. If you would rather not go to vineyards you can always drive through the landscape and take in the sites.
4. Rent a bike
Another great way to explore the Chianti region is by renting bikes. Our venue offers bike rental which you book and use!
5. Visit Tuscan castles
Some of the most stunning castles in Italy can be found in Tuscany. There are guided tours available at some of the castles – Castello de Meleto is one of the most popular with a castle tour and wine tasting!
6. Visit Florence
The capital city of the region of Tuscany is only 1 hour 15 minutes drive from the venue and is a great place to visit for the day or for a short break. With a stunning Cathedral and an array of museums and galleries, amongst small restaurants and pizzerias, the city is a great way to immerse into Italian culture!
